Saw this band perform last night at The Earl before King Khan, and I was very into them, they are really great live. I had never heard of them, but they are San Francisco, so that is usually a good sign. Plus, King Khan likes them, so you know...They have this modern yet late 60's early 70's San Francisco vibe to them, if that makes any sense, kind of psychedelic at times, but well done, so you don't zone out completely.

Samtastic! Review: Yeasayer video for ONE!

So cool, colorful, different, focused, pretty and funny! This is one of my fave songs off this album, so glad it's the second one they are putting out! I am really into this concept they seem to be carrying on in this video of these hooded figures and morphing faces, it's sort of futuristic and medieval at the same time. So well done!
