I only caught about half of Gringo Star last night, but I feel that they might be worth another look. Their light show at The Earl was the best I have ever seen, the lights came from the stage not from above, the effect was brilliant! :

Samtastic! Review: Kanye and GaGa tour on sale soooon

So, I know EVERYONE is sick of this song by now, and maybe the antics that go along with Lady GaGa, but if you close your eyes, or even if you don't her voice is so good. I wish this album would just be done, I want to see what is next. And with as much crap as I am going to get for saying this, I don't care, I am going to see her and Kanye perform live together. I am a little concerned that their show is going to be lost on the Arena crowds, BUT I will hopefully be really close so it won't matter. They should have done this tour in really small intimate arenas, but that is just my opinion, I haven't seen it yet, maybe I will change my mind.

Samtastic! Review: Miike Snow video for Black and Blue

Here is the video for Miike Snow's song "Black and Blue", nice concept. I feel like the old man in this video a lot, closed up, shut off, in need of grooming, and listening to music as if it is the only thing that matters. And, since it has been raining here for a week, that is exactly all that I feel like doing, but life must go on.

Samtastic! Review: Nero's Remix of LaRoux I'm Not Your Toy

There is no real video for this Nero Remix of LaRoux's "I'm Not Your Toy", but you can listen to it and melt like I did...this is really really really good in my opinion. The song still comes through, I might actually buy this and it's not really my usual thing.
