Samtastic! Review: Day & Age by the Killers
The Killers have a new album, it's called Day & Age.
It's different, more like Tranquilize and Sawdust than Sam's Town...
It's very Talking Heads to me, there is something very David Byrne about it...the singing isn't as messed with and it's kind of nice. I love Brandon Flower's voice, it's clear and smooth.
Each album they come out with is different from the last. This one is very layered and needs to be listened to at a higher volume or you miss things. I love driving to the Killers with the volume up.
I am sure there are haters out there, but it is a solid album in my opinion, less mainstream, but enjoyable.
