Fleet Foxes are so
What is a Fleet Fox, does that term actually mean anything? The only reason I ask is that I seem to be having trouble with words lately, they are turning on me...one of my biggest peeves about myself is that I feel sometimes that what I say doesn't make any sense...
Anyway, this Seattle band (the fact that they are from there is so apparent in their sound if you have ever been there) the Fleet Foxes are my new obsession. They are this new throw back to powerful folk music, lots of harmonies, a tamborine, simple chords, nice drums, and a message.
This is perfect end of summer, beginning of fall driving around with the windows open on a country road music...perfect for taking a nap or rest outside on a partly cloudy day. Would work well at a BBQ, or while camping out sitting around the fire.
The voices are so pretty.
Highly recommend this.

Gas of all kinds
It's weird to me that having gas in your body can be more painful than most things that can happen to you...I know this is a weird thought, but I know an 8 year old who loves to talk about such things, so bear with.
The other gas crisis going on these days is so annoying, gasoline is ruling most decisions for people that I know. The freedom we once felt is disappearing...and it's all based on decisions made by people who don't care that I feel trapped in Kennesaw, GA because gas is too expensive to spend going out on.
And my point is really about freedom, does money actually rule freedom, or do we rule our freedom, or does someone else rule it for us? Freedom only stays available when you protect your rights, right?
