Brett Walker and his photography
He is a mystery to me, I literally know nothing about him...?
But this person's photography is haunting and amazing, simply take a look:

These images sort of leave me speechless.

Kanye West: video for Champion
I don't really like this video, I think it is cheesy, not funny, which I believe was it's intention...sad too because this is one of my favorite songs by Kanye.

Review:
I learned a lot last night. I learned that my new camera is complicated. Some very nice young gentleman helped me turn it's flash off, his camera was much bigger.
I learned that Janelle Monae is from outer space, and a really good performer. Not only is she amazing to look at, but she crowd surfed, then started a dance circle in the crowd and showered us with water as a finish. She is cool.
I learned you can buy her CD at Best Buy for $4.99...or just go to iTunes.
I learned that Danger Mouse likes Stella Artois, which is my favorite beer.
I learned that Gnarls Barkley can rock, really. If you are into them, go see them. This tour was a ROCK concert, seriously and it was SOOOOOOOO good.
I learned that Cee-Lo can really sing, and his soul is real.
I learned that he likes to call himself Sexual Chocolate sometimes.
It was all in all a really educational and FUCKING amazing concert.
GO SEE THEM, although I must add that this venue, the Variety Playhouse is pretty small, I was like in the front. But go anyway if you are a fan, it will knock your socks off.

Tuesday Night for the Sad and Lonely
This week is being rough with me, well, that's a lie. I am making it hard on myself, and the studying isn't going so well...I just want to have fun, ya dig?
Here is a playlist I am hoping will help me get through the Jekyll and Hyde in my head these days:
1. Lost by Coldplay - this is on the new album and I find myself singing these lyrics in my head a lot lately...it's a really great song, and they did it twice on the album, 2 different versions...I like the first one just a little bit more...not sure why really, but they did.
2. This Is How We Do It by Montell Jordan - I LOVE THIS SONG, it reminds me of being a teenager and not knowing what a 40oz. was really...I heard it like a week and a half ago on TV and finally bought it today, it's just a really fun song.
3. Phenomena by The Yeah Yeah Yeahs - This is their best song, enough said. Listen to it, it will get you pumped up.
4. You Only Live Once by The Strokes - I don't get this song it's fun to sing along to and probably get half the words wrong.
5. Anti Matter by N.E.R.D. - This song ROCKS, and I love what N.E.R.D. stands for = Noone Ever Really Dies...they are twisted.
6. Shit Song by Kate Nash - I am pretty obsessed with her album Made of Bricks and I know I am like, a year late on this, but I don't care, I want to speak in a British accent after listening to her sing.
7. Mirror Error by The Faint - GOD this band is soooooooooooo good, this song is brand fucking NEW too, their album came out today! And I am going to see them next WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
8. Long Gone Lover by the Vevelettes - This jam is so good, perfect Motown Pop Ditty.
9. It's 5! by Architecture in Helsinki - When I think of this band I think of = Oompa Loompas who have formed a Rock band and they sing in the Wonka Factory, seriously, it's awesome in my head.
10. Runaway by Bon Jovi - This is a little Jersey shout out, and a reminder that I need to get back to work now.

Coldplay Viva La Vida Video
I am not really sure how I feel about this video...I feel like, they could have done more. This is a great song, that has grown on me a lot...but it's lyrics don't become amplified by this video. It's pretty at some points, but just feels half assed to me, I guess.
