Samtastic! Review: Tilly & the Wall

I love this video and song, so catchy!

More dancing...

This is a really looong video, but pretty fun. I love Chris Brown and that other kid from Step Up 2...I kow it's cheesey, but it's pretty cool.

George Sampson is the bomb!

This kid is really really awesome!

Legotastic!

This is ridiculous and amazing at the same time!

Samtastic! Review: Flobots

I randomly bought this album today by the group Flobots called Fight with Tools and it's awesome. It's fresh, and although it could be compared as a combination of other groups, the instrumentals are pretty unique. I am really digging it so far, and I highly recommend checking them out if you like hip-hop with a message.

Samtastic! Review: Choices

I think I have too many choices all the time. This makes me extremely indecisive. I know this is going to sound like a very spoiled little brat complaint, but trust me, I have earned my right to choices. But I think it's more than that. I think in the U.S. we have gotten so materialistic and overwhelmed with wanting fame and riches, that it's hard to see what we really need and what is right for us.

I am treading water, which is better than a couple of years ago when I was paralyzed completely by making decisions on which way to go. Now, I can at least decide when I definitely don't want something, or to go somewhere, or to do a certain activity. Which makes for a very negative start to things.

I don't know how to change this, for everyone, so I really can only change myself, and maybe some of the people I know by being aware of it. It is frustrating and sad.

Samtastic! Review: Gnarls Barkley's The Odd Couple

I know I know I know, I am late, but I didn't want anything to get in the way of Kanye...sorry Gnarls. I met CEE-LO! And this album, The Odd Couple is super amazing, at first couple listens, I wasn't sure, but it is. It's much chiller and darker and more mature than St. Elsewhere. I posted this video for the song Going On, which might be my fave, but, like I said, the whole thing is pretty great! I really dig this movement lately in music, it's like the universe has finally listened to me. Screw Madonna and Mariah, they are the anti-culture that is ruining the music industry. Paying Madonna 25 million dollars for 2 concerts is absolutely fucking wrong and insane, no matter who you are.

Samtastic! Review: Kanye West, Glow in the Dark

Ok. breathe.

It's now Wednesday. I went to see Kanye on Sunday at the Gwinett Arena here in GA, and I am still reeling.

Best Show Ever. If you like Kanye West, go, but it's probably sold out.

I don't even have any pictures to show, but I wouldn't want to spoil it for anybody.

This show made my weak in the knees, sad, extremely happy, I have a soar throat still, and I am visually blown away for a really long time to come.

He is a genius, and anyone who says differently is just FLAT OUT WRONG.

Oh, and during the intermission before Kanye went on, I got to tell Cee-Lo from Goodie Mob, solo, and Gnarls Barkley fame, how amazing he is, because he was standing in the hallway.

Seriously, amazing.
